Our Nurses and Receptionists
Here at Derby City Dental Care we have a dedicated team of dental nurses and receptionists who pride themselves in making our patients journey as comfortable as possible. We have a wide range of personalities and skill sets in our dental nursing team and many of our dental nurses have post qualifications such as radiography and oral health education. We also have some fantastic receptionists who ensure the smooth running of the practice from day to day. Our receptionist will always greet you with a smile and are here to help you with any queries you may have. Our lovely support team are here to help our patients with every step of their journey making them feel calm and relaxed throughout.

Riten graduated from Barts & The London, QMUL in 2010. His kind and friendly approach helps put patients' mind at ease. He has previously worked in Wollaton for the past 7 years and has also been providing out of hours care at Nottingham Emergency Dental Clinic for the past 6 years.
He has since completed a diploma of membership of the faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2013 then did his postgraduate certificate in Minor Oral Surgery at the Prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2014 to gain additional surgery skills. He has recently completed a course on implantology.
Riten along with Graham have now taken over the practice. They are both Educational Supervisors training new dentist and guiding them from university to general dental practice.
In his spare time Riten like to travel and has a passion for football and cricket.
Graham Wilkinson

Graham is a dentist with a special interest in oral surgery, who has carried out minor oral surgery procedures including apicectomies, buried wisdom teeth and biopsy's at the north Derbyshire M.O.S service.
He did his training at the Charles Clifford hospital in Sheffield and lectures on oral surgery techniques to general dentists. Graham has been involved with implants for over 12 years now, and is a member of the international team for implantology, with whom he did his implant training. He is a Dental Foundation Trainer who teaches new dentists as well as lecturing oral surgery techniques to General Dentists.
Graham did his postgraduate certificate in Restorative dentistry at Prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital centre for excellence in 2008, in order to provide aesthetics, long term implant retained crowns, bridges and dentures.
At Derby Dental Care Graham also provides a full range of facial aesthetics including dermal fillers and lip reshaping and collagen induction therapy.

Sahle obtained honours in bachelors in dental surgery from Yenepoya University, in the year 2013
from India and went on to pursue his three-year Masters in Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics
from the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore India graduating in the
year 2017. Recently joining the Derby City Dental team with a dual role as a Dental Therapist and
Dental Hygienist, Sahle also recently completed his Masters in Advance General Dental Practice from
Ulster University, Northern Ireland in 2022.
Sahle has a pragmatic approach to General Dentistry and ensures patients are well-informed and
leave with a lasting smile. He understands the fear and anxiety regarding visiting a dentist and
ensures his patients always have placid and pain-free treatments. His special interests and skills
involve aesthetic smile makeover and Conservative Dentistry with minimal intervention. Outside
Dentistry, he loves to spend time with family, friends and travelling and is exploring his luck with
photography.
Harpreet Mann
Harpreet Graduated from Queen Mary University Of London, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2009. She moved from London 2 year ago and has settled well, she has been with the practice since 2021 and enjoys every part of it.
Harpreet has a passion for cosmetic dentistry, dentures and facial aesthetics.
When she is not working, you will find her spending time with her family and friends or practising her yoga moves.

Atif Hussain
Atif recently join the Derby City Dental Care team with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Plymouth.
He has a strong passion for cosmetic and restorative dentistry, helping patients enhance their smiles and achieve optimal dental health. Atif also provides Invisalign treatments, offering clear and comfortable solutions for teeth straightening.
He is dedicated to providing personalized care and ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of treatment tailored to their individual needs.
Dr Usha Sridevi
Dr Sridevi is an Invisalign Go and Go plus provider having certified in 2016. She finds it very rewarding to see the impact that Invisalign treatment has on boosting a patient’s confidence.
She has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry creating beautiful smiles with composite bonding and teeth whitening. She spends her time explaining all procedures to patients and treats them in a gentle and empathetic manner ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable throughout their Invisalign journey.
She regularly attends continuing professional development programmes to update her knowledge and skills in dentistry
Fayaz Rashid

Dentist
Dr Fayaz Rashid qualified from the University of Sheffield in June 2008 and subsequently gained experience in general practice. In 2010, he undertook further training for sedation with SAAD's course.
Dr Rashid later worked as a sedation dentist at the Greater Manchester Anaesthetic Centre for two years, before enrolling on a master's course in dental implantology at University of Bristol in 2014 and the restorative master’s course at Manchester University in 2015.
Dr Rashid enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a keen interest in periodontics, endodontics prosthodontics and implantology. In pursuit of high standards, Dr Rashid keeps up to date with the latest techniques and knowledge in dentistry.
Dana-Iulia Niciu

Dana-Iulia Niciu, known as Julia, obtained her degree in Dentistry, following a six-year integrated programme which combined study at Bachelor’s and Master’s level at ‘Carol Davila’ University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, Bucharest, 2011.
Julia enjoys the Aesthetic & Cosmetic part of dentistry due to the positive effects what a restored and an improved smile has on one’s self-esteem, wellbeing and health, she works closely with her patients on broaden their knowledge on how to prevent oral disease, helping them to develop desirable dental health attitude and habits.
Amongst Julia’s hobbies and other interests are: traveling, sports, nutrition, nature and interior design.
Dr. Maseera Fatima is a highly skilled dental professional with over a decade of comprehensive training and experience in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from the prestigious Manipal University, completing an intensive five-year program. Driven by a passion for advanced restorative care, she pursued a three-year postgraduate specialization in Prosthodontics and Implantology, gaining in-depth expertise in crowns, veneers, dentures, and dental implants.
Following her academic journey, Dr. Fatima honed her clinical skills in India for two years, focusing on digital dentistry innovations. In 2020, she relocated to Saudi Arabia, where she practiced exclusively as a smile specialist. There, she specialized in aesthetic treatments such as veneers and composite bonding, transforming smiles with precision and artistry.
In 2023, Dr. Fatima moved to the UK and successfully cleared her licensing exams. She currently practices as both an NHS and private cosmetic dentist, delivering high-quality care tailored to her patients’ unique needs. Her areas of special interest include smile design, full-mouth rehabilitations, dentures, and aligner therapy. She is also known for performing gentle, pain-free extractions, earning the trust and comfort of her patients.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Fatima enjoys long walks in nature, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and traveling to explore different cultures and cuisines.
Rasha Anjum

Hygienist
Rasha qualified as an overseas dentist, from Ravi Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. She settled in Derby with her family in 2021 and is the newest member of DCDC. She is currently focusing on hygiene and to provide the best patient care. With her calm and relaxing nature she aims to put all her patient at ease.
Rasha has always been passionate about dentistry and when she not working hard at the practice. You will find her at home looking after her little one and cooking.

Clincal Dental Technician
Marlini Rampersad
Marlini is an experienced and qualified dental technician and clinical technician with over 25 years experience in South Africa, USA and UK. She has worked in and managed commercial laboratories as well as trained and taught many student. Marlini qualified as a clinical dental technician in 2011 through the KSS deanery gaining her qualification through the Royal College of Surgeons England. Marlini has extensive knowledge and experience with implant retained dentures as well as all phases of denture construction and provision directly to the patients. The knowledge of clinical and technical skills enables Marlini to provide denture care of the highest standard.

Joti Gill
Joti has been in dentistry for over 14 years having a wealth of experience as a dental nurse. She moved onto a management role in 2016 which is challenging but she thoroughly enjoys it. Joti is married with a young child who keeps her very busy, any spare time she has she enjoys cooking and socialising with family and friends.
